The hunt is on for the best businesses in Kensington & Chelsea with the inaugural launch of the 2018 Kensington & Chelsea Business Awards.
Organised by Kensington & Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, the chamber aims to recognise and reward the achievements of the local business community across the whole of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Businesses are invited to put themselves forward for the awards, which were formally launched last night (10th April) at the prestigious Hotel Baglioni. The finalists will then be invited to a gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Millennium Gloucester, on Thursday 18th October.
Michael Stone, Chairman of Kensington & Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, said: “These awards demonstrate that Kensington & Chelsea is an exciting place to work and recognition from these awards can make a difference when securing new customers and new business. Applications are welcome from all local businesses in the borough, large and small and there is no limit to the number of categories that can be entered”.
Speaking on behalf of one of the award sponsors Handelsbanken, Branch manager, Kensington Tom Fuller said “Handelsbanken is very pleased to be an award sponsor for the Kensington & Chelsea Business Awards. Kensington & Chelsea has a diverse and entrepreneurial business base and we are delighted to support the inaugural awards and wish all business every success”.
The awards are free to enter and businesses can enter online by visiting the website www.rbkcawards.com; companies have two months to complete their entries before the judging process begins.
